Misel Cosmetics Pvt. Ltd., registered under the name of Deepika Agarwal, is located in Gokarneshwar Municipality, Kathmandu.
After receiving information that fake cosmetics products were being produced in the factory. The police raided the factory.
During the raid by a team jointly deployed by the police and commercial supplies and consumer protection department, cosmetic products of different companies were seized, along with raw materials used to produce counterfeit products such as shampoo, hair treatment cream, hair oil, etc.
According to the preliminary assessment, the materials are estimated to be worth crores.
After the raid on the said factory, the factory has been sealed for further investigation by the Department of Commercial Supplies and Consumer Protection.
