Star of ITV This Morning and Dancing on Ice Holly Willoughby has stunned fans with the £5 Superdrug beauty product she uses every single day. Holly is known for her youthful glow, and many women have wondered how she does it.
But while you might think the 41-year-old uses only the most expensive products to keep her radiant glow, you’d be wrong. Her secret? A £5 blush stick from E.l.f Cosmetics.
The blonde bombshell’s makeup artist Patsy O’Neill has shared a breakdown of a recent “summer skin minimal makeup” look she created on the star for her lifestyle site Wylde Moon – and one of the products in question will only set you back a fiver.
The bargain product responsible for the star’s flushed, glowing skin? e.l.f. Cosmetics Monochromatic Multi-Stick in Glistening Peach, which you can snap up for £5 here.
In a handy stick format, these cream to powder multipurpose sticks can be used on the face, eyes and lips, so you’re really getting bang for your buck. The formula is also enriched with skin-loving ingredients like vitamin E and shea butter, for nice and nourishing wear.
The £5 blush stick loved by Holly Willoughby has racked up hundreds of positive reviews online. One person wrote: “I bought one to try and loved it so much I bought 2 more. It’s easy to use and very versatile.” Somebody else said: “I’ve had this product for a long time and I bought it just because it interested me and I was very impressed. I use it as a blush and I find it very easy to apply. While other people complain about the glitter, I actually think it is very minimal and adds a nice shimmer. This is one of my everyday products and it is great for beginners!”
A third five-star reviewer wrote: “LOVE THESE!!! I use them everyday and have about 3 in my cosmetic bag at any given time.” A fourth agreed: “Love this so much that I gave one to my daughter to try and her daughter (age 9) took it! Perfect for traveling, applies smoothly and blends beautifully!”
Of course, Holly is no stranger to a bargain makeup product, as back in March she wore a very nostalgic beauty buy while hosting Dancing On Ice – which Patsy shared on Instagram at the time.
Although the super sparkly eye look certainly appeared expensive, the bargain buy in question in fact costs less than a fiver, with the MUA confirming she had used secondary school favourite Barry M Glitter Dust glitter pots, £4.59 here.
To create the out of this world shine, Patsy mixed the Barry M icon with a “vintage” MAC Glitter Reflects in Pearl, £18.50 here, offset with a slick of SUQQU Colour Ink Liquid Eyeliner, £22 here.
