Beauty brand Alleyoop has earned Certified B Corp status.
According to company executives, Alleyoop has maintained the key values that led to the certification since its inception in 2019 including:
• Multi-purpose products that do more than one things, resulting in less packaging, materials, overall waste;
• Leveraging responsibly sourced, lab grown ingredients, upcycled and waterless formulas and packaging that includes post-consumer recyclable plastic, refillable components and biodegradable materials;
• Through its partnership with CleanHub, Alleyoop has helped prevent 21,135lbs of ocean-bound plastic from entering oceans, equating to over 200,000 plastic bottles;
• Women founded and led, with 75%+ of leadership identifying as female
• Over 60% of workers are minorities and/or women
• Alleyoop gives preferences to suppliers that are owned by underrepresented populations
